Hoisting License Preparation Courses
The standard tuition for any preparation class will be $280.00 per person, the Veterans Tuition for any preparation class will be $250.00 per person and this includes all books and study materials. In addition, we will assist you in submitting your application to the state for your hoisting license exam.
We do not require a deposit, allowing you to pay on the day of the class. If you need a refresher following a class, you can attend another class for free. If for any reason you did not pass your exam, you can attend as many classes as you need for free within one year, until you pass the exam.
Courses are being held at the Hampton Inn Boston/Braintree, or they can be held at your own facility. Most courses are approximately 6 hours long; however, some may vary due to class size and current curriculum being covered.

All courses begin with registration at 8:00 a.m. Classes start at 8:30 a.m. and go until 2:30 p.m. please plan your time accordingly.

Online Learning Not Your Style, We Have You Covered with Continuing Education Courses

Edgewater Career Training is approved by the Massachusetts Department of Public Safety to offer continuing education courses. These courses are required by the Massachusetts DPS in order for all Hoisting Machinery operators to renew their license. Continuing Education is required before every two year renewal of all Hoisting License Restrictions held. Please see the Massachusetts Department of Public Safety website for more details on this requirement.
